We are still open!
From Wednesday 25 March, the Police Club will change the way it does business, owing to the federal government’s recent Covid-19 restrictions.
We are not closing! And we are leaving no stone unturned to keep the club viable, and its employees working.
Unfortunately, we have to close the dining area of the club until further notice. However, the shopfront area of the Precinct Café will remain OPEN for business -with a new takeaway menu especially designed for busy members to grab a quick, fresh takeaway breakfast or lunch.
The new takeaway menu will include some old club classics like the chicken wrap, the police burger, and the schnitzels. It will also include some new takeaway options like egg and bacon rolls, butter chicken and a vegetable curry.
All the prices will be at member-discounted rates. There’ll be no better place in Adelaide for busy cops to grab a takeaway meal.
Order over the phone and pay in advance on 08 8212 2924, or come in to place your order and we will prepare it while you wait.
The club’s new opening hours are:
Mon-Fri: 6:30am – 2pm
Saturday: 11am – 2pm
Yes, we are going to open on Saturday! Members working on Saturday will be able to come in and grab their takeaway coffees and lunch.
There will obviously be a small adjustment period for our staff, so let’s all be patient and work together with them. Every member has a stake in the club, so let’s make this work.
We all know this is a hugely challenging time for businesses in the hospitality industry. The club is no exception. These changes are the biggest challenge it has faced in its nearly 60-year history. We are going to fight hard to ensure the survival of Australia’s last Police Club. But to do that we need your support, now more than ever.
