The Police Club partnered with Winestate Magazine in 2011 to create the first ever Police Wine Club.
The Police Wine Club sets out to help Police Association members and supporters discover great wines while at the same time promote the fellowship for which the police family is known.
Members are invited to two Winestate Magazine tastings and at least three Police Club wine-tasting events each year. The wine for the Police Club tasting events, which often numbers in excess of 300 bottles, is provided by Winestate Magazine. Members also receive a 12-month subscription to Winestate Magazine.
Based at the West End Brewery at Thebarton, Lion partnered with the Police Club in 2012 as part of a program in which Lion supplies specially selected beer and cider for association events at the Club. These include the Police Club Industry Forums and Graduation Dinners, as well as other events.
Lion also supplies beer for tastings at Police Wine Club functions. The Lion partnership brings great beers to Police Club and Police Association events and assists in reducing the running costs of the Club.
